What is the Magic Wand Tool?
- The Magic Wand tool it lets you select a consistently colored area without having to trace its outline.
This is the magic wand tool
So, this is the steps on how to select the magic wand tool:
1. Select the Magic Wand Tool (W). Make sure that the New Selection and Anti-Alias options are selected. The Anti-Alias option creates a smoother-edged selection.
2. Set Tolerance to 10. Tolerance determines the similarity of difference of the pixels selected. The numbers would range from o to 255. A low value will select the few colors very similar to the pixels. you click. A higher value select a broader range of colors.
3. Select the unwanted portion and press Delete.
4. Repeat the process until you have cleaner edges of the image.
Note: Press Ctrl + + to Zoom in or Ctrl + - to Zoom out.
5. Save the changes and close this document.
